Reflections from Silver
Today is Philippine Independence Day and declared as a national holiday that is why it is but natural that there are many events being held to commemorate the historic event. Of course I also celebrated since it is my special day. Today is my 25th birthday!
To give you an overview, I am not really into writing or making a journal but I wanted to be accountable in some way and to make my life an open book so as to be cautious with my actions and decisions. I wanted to start a blog about my life starting today. To share my thoughts, my struggles, my passion, my reflections about life.
So I wondered what title best suits the blog that I will be starting. Mmmm???....
I thought to myself what about "My life is an open book"? Unfortunately it was already taken.
"This is my story"? Taken..
What about"Life Starts at 25"? Taken.
"Life begins at 25"?Taken.
Grrrr! The titles that I wanted and those that were close to them were already taken.
So what title would I use to still reflect my purpose for this blog? And then I recalled that Silver represents the number 25. Silver also symbolizes second place. I am definitely using the word silver since it is my 1st day of my 25th year and that it supports my goal of starting over. A second chance.
So I thought about using "My life begins at silver" for the title. Mmm? It does not sound appealing though. Think. think. think. And then suddenly, a picture of a polished silver reflecting my image came to mind. Reflections=thoughts. I'll take that one. Reflections from silver.
Whew! Choosing the title alone gave me a hard time and I now that my journey will be even harder as the days would progress. But I know that someday I will be a better man. It takes trials hardships just as silver needs to be melted or polished to become shiny.
This is just the first and I am still about to see more reflections from silver.
